Day 01: Delhi

Arrive at Delhi international airport, meet – great with our office representative at the airport and transfer by car to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for your relax.

Day 02: Delhi

After breakfast drive for sightseeing tour of Old Delhi; visit Jama Masjid; the largest mosque of India with a courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees. Thereafter proceed to take Rickshaw ride in from Red Fort to Chandni Chock; one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi, built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. After that visit the Raj Ghat; the black marble platform where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948 AD. Noon lunch at city restaurant (on own) Afternoon sightseeing of New Delhi; visit Qutub-Minar; the red and buff sandstone is the highest tower in India. It has a diameter of 14.32 m at the base and about 2.75 m on the top with a height of 72.5 m. The tall minaret was constructed in 1192 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak, and later completed by his successor Iltutmish. After walking around Lutyens Delhi to take pictures of beautiful building of British era; the Presidential House, Parliament and India Gate; the memorial bears the name of more than 13516 British and Indian soldiers killed in the 1st World War near the frontier of Afghan in 1919 AD. Evening visit the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib; is one of the most prominent Sikh Gurudwara, or Sikh house of worship.

Day 03: Delhi-Jaipur

Early morning Yoga and meditation class with Yoga teacher. After breakfast drive by surface to Jaipur. (approx 270 kms – 6 hrs drive) Noon lunch at en route restaurant (on own). Afternoon arrive Jaipur and check-into hotel.
Jaipur, the ‘Pink City’, has been the capital of erstwhile Jaipur state since its inception in 1727 AD, It was founded by Sawai Jai Singh II, a great ruler as well as renowned mathematician and astrologer. Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya, designed Jaipur as per the Hindu treatise, Shilp Shastra. In 1876 Jaipur dressed itself in pink to welcome Prince Albert, consort of queen Victoria, and earned the epitaph ‘Pink City’. Later on enjoy the walking tour of Bapu bazaar and other old bazaar of walled Pink city.

Day 04: Jaipur

Early morning Yoga and meditation class with Yoga teacher. After that breakfast at hotel and drive to visit Amber Fort (11 kms away from city), Amer, originally, was the capital of the state before Jaipur. It is an old fort, built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh. On a way back photo stop at Jal Mahal (water Palace) to take the beautiful pictures.
Noon lunch at city restaurant (on own). Afternoon visit the City Palace & museum; the complex lies at the heart of the city. At the heart of the complex is seven-tiered Chandra Mahal where the erstwhile royal family is still in residence. Chandra Mahal is open to the public, and these also form part of a museum which includes everything from Grand outfits (including one with 18 kilos of golden thread woven into it) to swords and two silver urns that are believed to be the largest silver objects in the world. Visit Jantar Mantar; a stone observatory, part of the city palace complex, Jantar Mantar is one of several other astronomical observatories created by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. These concrete masonry instruments were used to measure everything from altitude to time, and map the movement of the planets and the stars. After that we take you to the Hawa Mahal (the Palace of the winds) for exterior view and beautiful pictures. Hawa Mahal consists of five tiers of corridors on the inside, with pierced screen windows of 956, which overlook the street below. It is believed the women of the royal zenana would sit concealed behind these screens to see life in the city beyond the walls of the palace.

Day 05: Jaipur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra

Early morning Yoga and meditation class with Yoga teacher. Thereafter breakfast at hotel and drive by surface to Agra (approx 250 kms – 6 hrs drive). En route visit Fatehpur Sikri – the extraordinary city built by Akbar the Great, deserted 14 years later, but which, during its brief span, exceeded London in both grandeur and population. After lunch continue drive to Agra. Late afternoon arrive and check-into hotel. Optional Moon light Taj Mahal visit, these nights are the full moon night itself and the two nights before and after the full moon night. Tourists can view the Taj Mahal from a distance of 500 m, from a nearby red sandstone platform.

Day 06: Agra

Early morning Yoga and meditation class with Yoga teacher. (Optional sunrise Taj Mahal facing Yoga class can be organize)
After breakfast visit of the world famous Taj Mahal a monument of love built by Shah Jahan as a memorial for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, an incredible 20,000 workman’s labored on it, day and night. The construction of the Taj Complex began about 1631 AD. Later visit the Red Fort built by three generations of Mughal emperors, between 1565 and 1573. It housed both the residential palaces of the Royal family and the military quarters. After visit lunch at city restaurant (on own). Afternoon will be free to visit the local market and relax in hotel. Evening optional visit of the Mohabbat-the-Taj show presents a series of play depicting the saga of love. The true and immortal love of Shajahan for Mumtaj Mahal- his beautiful wife; the lavish lifestyle of mughal era; . The effort to hold up the cultural and historical legacy of India is worth a glance.

Day 07: Agra-Jhansi-Orchha

Early morning Yoga and meditation class with Yoga teacher. After that transfer to railway station. 0820 hrs depart by Bhopal Shatabdi to Jhansi. (Tea, coffee and breakfast on board). 1035 hrs arrive at Jhansi railway station- meet and drive to Orchha (01 hour drive). Orchha – an ancient capital of a powerful Bundela Rajput kingdom. The Bundelas trace their descent from the Gaharwar Rajputs of Benaras. Noon Arrive and check-into hotel & lunch at hotel or restaurant (on own). Afternoon sightseeing tour of Orchha, The Fort of Orchha has 3 Palaces – the Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mandir and Sheesh Mahal and also the Haveli and Garden of Rai Praveen. Evening to attend the ritual (Puja) ceremony in temple we will visit Ram Raja. The temple is an archetypal palace with pillared arcades. Raja Bir Singh Deo constructed this temple to enshrine the image of Lord Rama (Incarnation of Vishnu) that remained in the Ram Raja Temple.

Day 08: Orchha

Early Morning we will walk towards the river Betawa to do the Yoga and meditation class with Yoga teacher under the tree on the banks of the river. After Yoga back to hotel for breakfast and we will go for a Nature walk & bird watching in the Orchha Sanctuary, it was the royal hunting forest of the Royal family of Orchha. This forest is roughly 25 kms long and 15 kms wide and an unspoilt natural habitat for a large variety of wildlife and still has Wild boar, Langur, Blue Bull (Nilgai), Sloth Bear and over 200 species of birds. Trails are being developed in the Sanctuary for walking – driving in the interior and by the banks of the Jamni and Betwa rivers. After visit back to hotel. Noon lunch at local restaurant or hotel (on own). Afternoon visit Chhatris (Cenotaphs). It is a magnificent structure on the banks of the river Betwa and is now in a state of disrepair. Cenotaphs of other rulers and queens are alongside this one. In the evening visit the Laxmi Narayan Temple – The temple is on an elevation and built on a rectangular plan by Vir Singh Deo in 1622 A.D. and renovated by Prithvi Singh. The wall paintings in the Lakshmi Narayan Temple are worth a visit and depict scenes from the epics and even the 1857 uprising with scenes of battles between the Rajputs and the British army.

Day 9: Orchha-Khajuraho

Early Morning we will walk towards the river Betawa to do the Yoga and meditation class with Yoga teacher under the tree on the banks of the river. After Yoga back to hotel for breakfast and drive by surface to Khajuraho. (170 kms – 4 hrs). Khajuraho – world famous for its magnificent temples built by the rich and powerful Chandela emperors. The temples where forthright sculptures celebrate the joy of life and love for which there is no equivalent in the world. The Western Group of temples: This is certainly the best known, because it is to this group that the largest and most typical Khajuraho temple belongs: The Kandariya Mahadev. The Eastern Group of temples: Hindu and Jain temples make up the Eastern Group, has the largest Jain temple, Parswanath, is in this group. Evening optional Light & Sound show in Khajuraho: This fascinating light & sound spectacle evokes the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and traces the story of the unique temples from the 10th Century to the present day.

Day 10: Khajuraho

Early morning we will drive about 20 kms to reach Raneh waterfalls, here we will do the Yoga and meditation class with Yoga teacher. After yoga we will serve you packed breakfast. After breakfast you can enjoy the waterfalls and nearby nature beauty. Raneh Falls is a beautiful picnic spot on River Ken. This is based on granite rocks and is 5 km long and 100 feet deep. The color formation of Granite rock is pink, red and gray. It is out of the world experience. Noon lunch at local restaurant or hotel (on own). Optional : afternoon wildlife safari in Panna National Park – 30-minute drive will bring you from Khajuraho to the famous and splendid Panna National Park. The region is rich in wildlife and its highlights are Leopards, Wolves, Gharials, Wild Boars, Sloth Bears, Cheetals, Chowsinghas, Indian Foxes and Porcupines. Flora is not the less inviting with dense teak forests and the panoramic landscape of the sanctuary has deep gorges and lush green serene valleys.

Day 11: Khajuraho-Varanasi

Today early morning we will drive about 20 minutes from Khajuraho to Kutni Dam – Benisagar Lake, here we will do the Yoga and meditation class with Yoga teacher. After yoga, enjoy packed breakfast. After breakfast back to hotel and relax until noon. Noon check-out from hotel and transfer to airport to connect flight to Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi – meet & transfer to hotel. Evening visit the Ghats to see the Puja ceremony on River Ganges.

Day 12: Varanasi

Early morning boat-ride on the Ganges river at dawn to see the Hindu pilgrims flock to the Ghats and have a ritual morning bath, practice yoga and perform ‘puja’ to the rising sun….all rituals evolved and derived from thousands of years of worship and traditions. We will also do the Yoga and meditation class with Yoga teacher on the boat or any Ghat. Cruise past the Manikarnika ghat to see the pyres being lit for the first cremations of the day. After the Boat ride visit a living Hindu temple to see the ceremony of morning “puja”. Take a walk through the myriad of narrow lanes in the Old city, past the many ancient temples, shrines and little shops crammed with customers looking for the famous silver and gold brocades for weddings or ever for cremation cloth. The most famous temple is the Kashi Vishvanath or “Golden” temple, which though is off-limits to non-Hindus, can be seen from the top floor of the old house opposite it. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast excursion to visit Sarnath (5 kms), is one of the holy Buddhist sites in the world, where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 B.C. Sarnath has a fine Museum filled with sculptures found at the site. Evening free for your own activities.

Day 13: Varanasi-Delhi

Early morning Yoga and meditation class with Yoga teacher. (Optional we can arrange again the Yoga & meditation class on the boat or Ghat on the river Ganges). Rest of the morning will be free for your own activities.
Noon lunch at local restaurant or hotel (on own). Transfer in time to the airport to connect flight back to Delhi. Enjoy the farewell dinner at hotel.

Day 14: Delhi Departure

Morning after breakfast transfer to New Delhi international airport to board the schedule flight to go back to home.
