Day 01: Kathmandu

Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu valley is the political and cultural heart of the kingdom. Traditional welcome on arrival by our representative. Transfer to the Hotel.

Welcome drink at the Hotel followed by the tour briefing. Sight-seeing :Patan Durbar Square – Patan’s durbar square is an architectural centre point with a far greater concentration of temples per sq. meter than in Kathmandu or Bhaktapur.Pashupatinath –This is the place where the holi sadhus pray & cremations on the Bagmatiriver are carried out. Evening free for activities. Dinner at the Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu - Chitwan

Chitwan is 180 Km from Kathmandu & is a 04 hours drive from Kathmandu. An elephant-back safari in the jungles of the Royal Chitwan National Park is a must for every visitor to Nepal. Less than 60 miles south of the Great Himalayan Range in Nepal’s sub-tropical Terai lowlands (600 ft), Chitwan is one of Asia’s premier wildlife reserves. Its 360 square miles of tall grasslands and forests are home to a wide variety of mammals and birds, including several endangered species. The park is most famous for Bengal Tiger, rare Gharial and Marsh Mugger crocodile and a large population of Asian rhinoceros.

Welcome on arrival by the Hotel group. Lunch at the Hotel. Elephant safari in the evening (1.5hrs)
Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 03: Chitwan

Breakfast at the Hotel. Canoeing and Elephant Breeding centre. (1.5hrs) Lunch at the Hotel.
Local village tour by bull-cart. Dinner at the hotel followed by Tharu culture dance.

Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 04: Chitwan – Pokhara

Pokhara is 160 kms from Chitwan and is a 4 hours drive approx. From Pokhara town (2,352 feet) in good weather there are splendid views right from the hotel.

Welcome on arrival. Lunch at the Hotel (Buffet) Visit to Davi’s Fall and Gupteshwar cave.

Dinner at Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 05: Pokhara

Early morning drive to Sarangkot for sunrise with the panoramic view of the Himalayan range.
Breakfast at the Hotel (Buffet). Visit to the Hindu temple , BindyaVashini Temple. Lunch at the local restaurant of Pokhara. Boating in Fewa lake followed by a visit to the Barahi Temple. Free to do activities on your own at the lake side. Dinner at the Hotel. (Buffet). Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 06: Pokhara - Nagarkot

Nagarkot is situated 232 kms approx., 7.5 hrs. from Pokhara. The panoramic view of the major peaks including the Mt. Everest can be seen from here. This place is also famous for viewing sunrise/sunset
.
Early morning departure from Pokhara. Lunch at a local restaurant on the journey. Arrival at the Hotel. Free to do activities on your own. Relaxation time. Dinner at the Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 07: Nagarkot - Bhaktapur - Kathmandu

On the way back from Nagarkot at 17 kms, stop for Bhaktapur. Perhaps the least changed of all cities in the Kathmandu Valley, with a distinct medieval feel. Pottery and weaving are still traditional industries here. Architectural wonders abound, including the Palace of Fifty-Five windows, Golden Gate and the magnificent five –storied pagoda style Nyatapola Temple.

Early morning departure for Kathmandu. Stop at Bhaktapur. Sight-seeing activities followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Arrival in Kathmandu. Visit Patan and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Free time at Thamel for shopping. Farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant with cultural dance.
Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 08: Kathmandu

Breakfast at the Hotel. Check-out from the Hotel.
Sight-seeing activities – Swayambhunath – The golden spire of the 5th century, the stupa is adorned with a colorful fluttering of prayer flags, and it crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu valley and offers a fantastic view over the city of Kathmandu. One of the most recognizable symbols in Nepal and the pointed eyes of Buddha watch all who ascend the worn stone steps.
Bouddhanath – The holiest shrine for the Buddhist culture in Nepal. With its large stupa, this is the place where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage.

Lunch at a local restaurant. Drop to Tribhuvan International Airport.
