Day 01: Cochin

Arrive Cochin – meet & transfer to Hotel.
Cochin – the ‘Queen of Arabian Sea’ is one of the most interesting cities of India and has one of the finest natural harbors in the world.

Day 02: Cochin

After breakfast city tour of Cochin – visiting the Fort area including the Dutch palace, the Church
of St. Francis and the Jewish Synagogue. Cochin now called “Kochi” is the commercial hub
of Kerala state and a town of great historical importance with Portuguese and Dutch
influences. It has one of the finest natural harbours and is known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea”.

Evening, enjoy Kathkali Dance show.

Day 03: Cochin - Thekkady

After breakfast drive to Thekkady (4 hrs). Periyar is known for Spices. It is been the spice capital
which date backs 1000 years. There are varieties of spices like ginger, cardamom, pepper,
cinnamon, coffee, vannilla, tea and garlic. There are lots of Spice garden in Periyar all these are
located around 2Kms surrounding.

Day 04: Thekkady - Munnar

After breakfast drive to Munnar (6 hrs) . The land of the highest peak in the Nilgris (Anamudi – 8,951 ft) south of Himalayas, Munnar the lovely hill station of Kerala rests in the high-ranges of Idukki district at an altitude of 4,500ft with towering mountains.

Afternoon, enjoy tour of Lockhourt Gap, Devikulam Tea Garden View, Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Dam &
Top Station & the town of Munnar.

Day 05: Munnar – Palghat

The trail is all metaled except at few places where the monsoon has washed away the roads. It’s a gentle ride with few climbs at places. The trail will pass through some beautiful waterfalls and gorges. Camp at Chungthang, the confluence of the two great rivers, the Lachen Chu and the Lachung Chu. It’s a small town with few shops. Lunch on the way.

Day 06: Palghat - Wayanad

After breakfast drive to Wayanad(3 hrs).Wayanad, the green paradise is nestled among the mountains of
the Western Ghats, forming the border world of the greener part of Kerala. Clean and pristine,
enchanting and hypnotizing, this land is filled with history and culture.

Afternoon arrive & Check in to Hotel.

Vythiri is a picturesque place located in the Northern high ranges of Kerala in Wayandu district.
Refreshing, pollution free and inspiring acres and acres of lush green land interspersed with perennial
streams and rolling hills at Vythiri. An area that breathes history and legend, Vythiri had been the natural

Day 07: Wayanad

Am Visit of Tholpetty Sanctuary & Kurava Dweep Tholpetty Sanctuary is at one end of Muthunga. The Lower Sanctuary of Muthunga and Tholpetty Sanctuary constitute Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary. The Sanctuary has an elephant population of over 900 plus other animals including spotted deer, bison, boar, and langurs (baboons) among others.

Pm visit Kuruva Dweep 950 acres of evergreen forest surrounded by east flowing river, Kabani. Rare
species of birds, orchids and herbs are sovereigns of this supernatural kingdom. This is an uninhabited
island which resembles a fantasy land.

Day 08: Wayanad - Cheruthuruthy

After breakfast proceed for Cheruthuruthy (120 kms / 2 hrs).Afternoon, visit the temple of Kozhimamparambu Bhagavathy, the Cheruthutruthy Mosque, St. Thomas
Church & Kerala Kalamandalam. Kalamandalam is one of the most revered places for the traditional art
forms of Kerala and is the cradle of training in India. This temple of arts has preserved and
propagated Kathakali – the classical dance-drama of Kerala – for the past 78 years. Kalamandalam and
its surroundings reflect the simple, pure and ethnic atmosphere in which these arts have survived for

Day 09: Cheruthuruthy - Kumarakom

Morning, a leisurely breakfast leave for Kumarakom (290 kms / 6 hrs)

Afternoon, arrive and check into hotel.

Day 10: Kumarakom - House Boat

Morning breakfast at Hotel.

1200 hrs: Check-out from the hotel in Kumarakom and board on House Boat for
an overnight moving towards Alleppey.
Alleppey is the centre for backwater cruises in Kerala. It has a large network of canals which, passing through the town, provides its lifeline. It has a long sandy beach. It is also the centre of the famous coir products of Kerala. Snake boat race is held here on second Saturday of August every year.
Dinner & Overnight: House Boat (Air Conditioned)

* Note: The cruise commences at 1200 by 1300 hrs lunch served on board and continues till dusk. At dusk the boat will anchor in a wide waterway or lake for the night (The backwaters close to boat traffic at dusk as the fisherman lay their fishing nets in the backwaters).
The air conditioner shall only be operational from 2100 hrs to 0700 hrs.

Day 11: House Boat - Kovalam

Morning breakfast on Board.
1000 hrs – disembark your House Boat and drive to Kovalam (180 Kms / 05 hrs).
Afternoon, arrive & Check in to Hotel.
Kovalam Beach is located at a distance of six kilometers from Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. It is also known as the ‘Paradise of South India’. Kovalam means a grove of coconut trees and truly the coconut trees along the beaches give a ravishing look.

After breakfast day is free for your personal independent activities.

Morning breakfast at hotel. Time free till departure transfer to Trivandrum Airport to flight back to Home.
